New Orleans Weather: Warmer this week, looking good for parades

Monday starts a warmer and unsettled stretch that will last until a cold front arrives early Friday. The good news is parade weather looks mainly dry this week. It will certainly be warmer, and fog will be possible during nights and mornings through Thursday.

A few disturbances will ride over us from the southwest the next few days, and these could spark a few showers each day. But no day looks like a washout, and any spotty rain we get will likely end in the evenings for parades.

A cold front on Friday could bring a few daytime showers, but rain should end by evening parade time. Saturday looks cool and dry.

The iffy day for parade weather appears to be Sunday when showers will be around. Right now Monday and Mardi Gras look cool and dry! This is subject to change some as we're still pretty far out.
